Treating All Levels of Care

  • Initial evaluation, including admission diagnosis, within 24 hours of being notified of a new admission, for all detox and residential clients.

  • Initial evaluation, including admission diagnosis, within one business day of being notified of a new admission, for all PHP/IOP clients.

  • Detox evaluation and protocols.

  • Follow-up appointments with all detox and residential clients on a weekly basis, or as needed, and monthly for all PHP/IOP, or as needed.

  • Medication management as needed for all clients, including medication refills.

  • Providers are on call 24/7/365 for urgent issues.

Excellent Charting to Optimize Billing

  • Signing of IMS form and entering diagnosis codes within 24 hours of admission.

  • Timely signing of Medical Directorship forms for licensing, including Medi-Cal / DHCS and the CLIA laboratory waiver, and any other forms consistent with the responsibilities of the medical director.

  • Peer-to-Peer review with insurance companies as needed.

  • Provide SDI, FMLA, Employer’s Certifications, off-work notes, and off-group notes for clients.

Responsiveness and Communication

  • Facility staff training: Medications and Detox Management, communication skills, boundaries, and patient care strategies.

  • Communicate orders and medication changes to the nurse as needed.

  • Consultation on policies, procedures, and program development as needed.
